Footage of over 100 cycling youths causing havoc on London’s roads last month has been caught on dashcam.
The footage was posted on the LondonTaxi Dashcam YouTube account and showed the mob passing through red traffic lights with a general disregard for other road users and pedestrians.
Luckily, most of the people on the crossing had passed before the gang of youths approached. The group can be seen pulling wheelies and weaving in and out of traffic on the capital’s busy Regent Street.
The video was posted on 31st October after being filmed on 22nd October. The uploader wrote: “Please welcome the next generation of London cyclists… if they survive that long.”
The video’s comments have sparked mixed opinions between YouTube users.
One user, Lula Lula, wrote: “And I get s*** when I say I hate cyclists. NONE of them stop for red lights, stop signs, etc.. want to be treated like a vehicle but think they are above simple traffic laws.”
Others also blamed the actions of the black cab drivers.
BlackCountryBikeCam said: “Not condoning the bad behaviour of children but those cabbages revving and lurching made an inconvenience properly, properly dangerous.”
